13 Weeks and counting

Each day brings a new discovery with Avian. The latest is giggling. He likes to stand on his tippy toes,  supported by our hands, opening his mouth wide then breaking into giggles. Tickling behind his ears also gives the same precious results...He also likes to be picked up and held over your head as tho he's flying. I just love seeing his eyes widen with fascination and am amazed at his trust in us. I'm also amazed at my love for him.

Ah, but today's first was holding onto a rattle and shaking it. Even if it was only for a shake. Watching his arms gradually catching up to his mind is entertaining, he didn't even cry when he dropped the rattle on his face. Our little trooper.

He's getting better at sleeping during the night, especially if I remember to get up and burp him. I've noticed that when I don't I get hit and kicked from his restless discomfort. We also could use a king size bed. Now I get why people have them. You can fit EVERYONE and every animal at bed time.

He's also been keen on talking (ooing and gooing), more so this week....Exciting!! He also recognizes Daddy's voice on the telephone.

Well, that's it for now. Inside my mind there are pages and pages but when it comes time to sit down I get a serious case of bloggers block.

Avian ~ My baby bird

Until I find my bearings and sea feet this will be a blog  about my baby son, Avian, who just happens to have been conceived around this time last year and other random topics. Likes and dislikes n' such.

So, about Avian. He's growing so swiftly and silently. Sometimes I don't want to blink and sometimes I wish daddy had a boob.

Right now it's difficult to find time to write. We're currently in the beginning chapter of becoming a family. Wow. I honestly never thought I'd be thinking, let alone writing of such things. Me, the eternal child of free will.
